Corporate Governance

Mr. Wasserman has more than two decades of experience advising boards, committees, and executives on matters of corporate governance.  He spent years advising the board of directors of Lehman Brothers and its audit committee as they worked to exit the largest bankruptcy in history.  Mr. Wasserman has worked with board committees from some of the largest financial institutions in the world on special investigations, as well as with executives and board members to help ensure that they meet their fiduciary duties.  Moreover, as Head of Enforcement at the New York Stock Exchange, Mr. Wasserman coordinated closely with the Issuer Regulation team on a wide variety of public company initial and continued listing issues.  And, as the Chair of the Board of Knology (a New York non-profit corporation), he has an inside understanding in many of the issues facing boards and their directors.  Mr. Wasserman is especially focused on the intersection between corporate governance and ESG and working on ways boards can promote sustainable development within their organizations.
